About Us

 Connect Health + Wellness is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to individuals and families throughout Martinsville, Henry County, and Patrick County, Virginia.

Since opening our doors in 2005, our mission has remained the same: improving access to healthcare, reducing health risks, and helping our communities achieve better health outcomes. Originally funded through a five-year, $4.5 million grant from the Harvest Foundation, Connect Health + Wellness was established to address healthcare access challenges and ensure local residents have a trusted source for comprehensive care close to home.

Today, Connect Health + Wellness operates medical clinics in Bassett, Ridgeway, Martinsville, and Patrick Springs, along with dental clinics in Martinsville and Patrick Springs. Our services include primary care, preventive care, dental care, behavioral health services, care coordination, and community health programs designed to support the whole person.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we welcome patients of all ages regardless of insurance status. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program for eligible uninsured and underinsured patients.

In 2023, the Martinsville-Henry County Coalition for Health and Wellness officially became Connect Health + Wellness. The rebrand reflected our growth from a single initiative into a comprehensive healthcare organization serving multiple communities. While our name changed, our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our region remains stronger than ever.
